Ontario Connecting 10,398 More People to Primary Care in the Greater Hamilton Area

This morning, the Hamilton Family Health Team, the Greater Hamilton Health Network (GHHN), and the GHHN Primary Care Network were thrilled to welcome MPP Monica Ciriello and Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath to announce an investment of nearly $5M to connect 10,400 more residents of Hamilton, Haldimand, and Niagara Northwest to family doctors and primary care teams.

This funding will lead to a healthier, more connected community.

Residents of these regions who don’t currently have a family doctor in their area can reach out by phone (365-317-8117) or email (attach@hamiltonfht.ca) to get connected, or learn more on the Hamilton Family Health Team’s website.

Thank you to the Government of Ontario for this historic investment, to our partners across the Greater Hamilton Area for your collaboration and support, and to all the family physicians, practice teams, interdisciplinary healthcare providers, and staff who humbly care for our community every day, one patient at a time. It takes a village to do this work – and you are the foundation of ours.
