Medical Office Front Desk Administrator / Receptionist

Location: Core Care Family Health Team, Hamilton

Position: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Administrator to join our busy medical office. This role is often the first point of contact for patients and plays a key part in keeping the clinic running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
–  Greet patients in a warm and professional manner

–  Check patients in and out and manage appointment flow

–  Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries appropriately

–  Schedule appointments and manage physician calendars

–  Maintain accurate patient records and update contact information

–  Process forms, referrals, and incoming documents

–  Handle sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality

–  Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
–  Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred

–  Experience using TELUS PS Suite is considered an asset

–  Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

–  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

–  Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records (EMRs)

–  Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure

–  Professional, courteous, and patient-focused approach
