Physician Assistant

PART-TIME EAST HAMILTON FAMILY MEDICINE CLINIC

Dr Rasha Boushra is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a multidisciplinary team based medical practice in East Hamilton, working 2 full days a week. Working under the direction of the physician, you will be providing comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population across all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. We care for children, adults, and seniors, managing a wide range of acute, chronic, and preventive health needs.

Clinical Responsibilities
• Conduct office consultations including history taking, vitals, and focused physical examinations
• Triage and manage patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Provide preventive care, periodic health examinations, and immunizations
• Participate in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, and obesity
• Assist with and perform office procedures including suturing and injections

Qualifications & Attributes
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Eligible to practice as a PA in Ontario
• Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred; motivated new graduates welcome
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using EMRs (PS Suite experience an asset)
• Interest in both clinical care and clinic operations
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team What We Offer
