Free Managing Chronic Pain Workshops for People with Chronic Pain

Managing Chronic Pain is a series for free workshops, open to the public, focusing on pain management and improving quality of life for people with chronic pain.

Who is this workshop intended for?

Individuals with Fibromyalgia, chronic back and neck pain, rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune conditions, osteoarthritis, chronic headaches and more.

Why participate?

  1. Learn more about the recommendations and connect directly with healthcare providers.
  2. Meet and engage with people who have chronic pain lived experiences.

As a physiotherapist working with patients with chronic pain, I keep an open mind in terms of different strategies to try. When pain becomes chronic, there are a multitude of factors that contribute to it and therefore a multitude of strategies.

How do the session work?

Each session has different topics such as medication management, nutrition, physical activity, exercise and the effects of stress and mood on chronic pain.

As a participant, you can sign up for one or all of these sessions based on your interests.
