We are looking for a temporary full-time Medical Receptionist/Admin in a busy family practice in Hamilton.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Booking patient appointments, greeting patients, and answering the phone line
• Liaising with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
• Maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information
• Scanning and faxing of patient information and reports
• Calling and leaving messages for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize while working within a busy environment
• Experience in PSS EMR required
• Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
