Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Tenancy Specialist to join our healthcare IT team. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, and Intune.
As the go-to for all things Microsoft cloud, you will plan and execute the configuration, security, and optimization of our Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring it supports both our clinical operations and compliance requirements. This is a hands-on technical role with strategic influence over our cloud productivity environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 tenant across services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune
Manage user provisioning, licensing, and group policies through Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure Active Directory
Design and implement conditional access policies, MFA configurations, and compliance/security baselines
Support mobile device management (MDM/MAM) and endpoint security via Microsoft Intune
Collaborate with IT leadership on Microsoft 365 roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management
Troubleshoot escalated cloud service issues and provide expert guidance to helpdesk and infrastructure teams
Ensure alignment with healthcare data privacy laws (HIPAA, PIPEDA) and internal security policies
Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and change control records

Post secondary education (degree or diploma) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants in enterprise or healthcare environments
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD, Intune, Teams, and Exchange Online
Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud security, compliance, and identity management features
Experience with endpoint configuration, policy deployment, and device compliance using Intune
Familiarity with hybrid identity models and integration with on-prem Active Directory
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both IT and non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of working in regulated environments, preferably healthcare
Valid G License and access to transportation, for remote work
