RN/RPN Position
Position Details
Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Permanent
Start Date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Deliver full-scope clinical care: assessment, treatment, referral coordination, and patient counselling.
• Establish and maintain focused programs for chronic disease management and proactive health promotion.
• Facilitate and deliver coordination of well-baby checks, cervical cancer screening (Pap smears), and clinical support for women’s health concerns
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure strict compliance with patient confidentiality (PHIPPA).
Qualifications and Skills:
• You must hold a current certification of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN and maintain membership in the RNAO.
• These positions require excellent health assessment/clinical skills and the ability to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities.
• While primary care experience is preferred, an orientation to primary care will be provided.
• You are an independent, creative and organized individual with strong oral/written communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; experience with OSCAR PRO is required.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure. Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
